Role overview
City Quay Dental Clinic in Dundee is seeking an Associate Dentist to join a busy NHS practice with a well-established patient list and strong demand for appointments.
Working pattern and start date
- The intended start is May 2026, with some flexibility available.
- The role runs across Monday to Saturday.
- This position offers access to an NHS patient base with strong earning potential.
- Clinicians will have scope to work with professional independence within a supportive team.
What you will do
- Provide high-quality NHS dental treatment to patients across all age groups.
- Keep clinical notes complete and accurate, and explain treatment choices clearly to patients.
- Work closely with hygienists, therapists, and the broader dental team.
- Adhere to clinical governance requirements and infection prevention and control procedures.
- Carry out radiography and diagnostic work with confidence.
- Take part in audits, team meetings, and ongoing service improvement activities.
Essential criteria
- A BDS degree or an equivalent recognised qualification is required.
- You must be registered with the General Dental Council.
- Previous NHS dentistry experience, along with working knowledge of NHS systems, is necessary.
Desirable experience
- Postgraduate interest in prosthodontics, endodontics, or periodontics would be an advantage.
- Interest in supporting and mentoring junior clinicians is desirable.
- Familiarity with intraoral scanning, including Trios Move+ scanners, is preferred.
