About the Company
Hervey Bay Roof Trusses has spent more than 25 years supplying and manufacturing timber and building materials, with a strong position in the local industry.
About the Role
Because the Truss and Frame Plant is expanding, the team is seeking an experienced Frame/Truss Assembler to join the workshop in Hervey Bay, Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and run plant machinery and supporting equipment used to build wall frames and trusses.
- Work with timber products, including helping with measuring and cutting timber.
- Operate nail guns to assemble frames and trusses.
- Stack, pack, and prepare completed products for transport.
- Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and orderly.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 2 years of experience working with timber.
Required Skills
- Comfortable reading plans and following written instructions.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to keep pace in a busy production setting.
- Dependable, eager to learn, and capable of working without close supervision.
- Strong focus on detail and accuracy.
