Accounts Payable Associate

Role Overview

Kalyani Forge Ltd, an ISO TS 16949, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18001 certified engineering company based in Pune’s automotive manufacturing hub, is looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to join its Finance & Accounts team. This role centers on end-to-end payable operations, including invoice handling, posting entries in SAP, making provisions, processing payments, and supporting reconciliation and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process vendor invoices accurately and within timelines.
• Record invoices in SAP and ensure proper booking against the right accounts.
• Create and maintain provisions related to outstanding payables.
• Coordinate and release vendor payments as per approved schedules.
• Perform account reconciliations, including payable balances and related ledgers.
• Prepare ageing analyses to track overdue and pending vendor dues.
• Support statutory, internal, and process compliance requirements.
• Assist during audits by providing records, explanations, and supporting documents.
• Maintain regular communication with vendors to resolve invoice or payment queries.

Candidate Profile

The position is suited to candidates with a commerce or finance background, especially those familiar with accounts payable processes, SAP, invoice verification, reconciliation work, and vendor coordination.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Com degree in Commerce, Accounting, Account and Finance, Finance, or Financial Markets.

Compensation

The offered salary range is INR 3,00,000 to 5,00,000 per year.
