Overview
This is a contract accounting opportunity for a client engagement focused on maintaining accurate books, supporting reporting cycles, and ensuring compliance with U.S. accounting requirements. The position can be performed from any location.
Role Details
- Position: Accountant

What You'll Do
- Keep financial records complete, current, and aligned with U.S. GAAP.
- Draft and assess monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Support tax-related submissions and help maintain compliance with U.S. federal and state rules.
- Work with teams across functions to assist financial planning and analysis efforts.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on knowledge of U.S. GAAP and standard financial reporting practices.
- Practical experience with month-end closing activities and account reconciliation.
- Good understanding of U.S. tax compliance obligations for domestic entities.
- Exposure to accounting platforms such as QuickBooks or NetSuite.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines consistently.
