Accountant

Role Overview

Saudi Yansab for Chemicals Storage Company is seeking a committed and detail-focused Accountant to support its finance operations in Ad Dammām, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role involves keeping accounting records accurate, supporting reporting cycles, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle everyday accounting activities and ensure financial records remain complete and accurate.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation activities.
• Prepare financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Process payroll and support related accounting entries.
• Maintain accounting records for fixed assets and inventory.
• Track inventory movements, reconcile stock, and assist with inventory valuation.
• Work with internal teams to keep financial and inventory data aligned.
• Ensure VAT filings and other statutory compliance obligations are completed on time.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
• At least 3 to 5 years of accounting experience is preferred, especially in inventory management and warehouse-related environments.
• Hands-on experience with ERP platforms and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, is expected.
• Knowledge of VAT rules and compliance practices in Saudi Arabia is important.
• The candidate should be able to work independently, collaborate with a team, and manage several tasks efficiently.
