Role overview
This opportunity is for an academically strong tutor who wants to make a meaningful difference in students’ learning journeys. The role sits within MedView Education’s tutoring network and is suited to people who have consistently achieved excellent results in school and/or university, communicate well, and genuinely enjoy helping others learn.
The position is part-time or casual and can be performed remotely with students located in different regions around the world.
What you will do
- Support learners from various countries, with a strong focus on students in Australia and New Zealand.
- Run structured tutoring sessions on an ongoing basis.
- Use your subject and curriculum knowledge to provide high-quality academic support in your area of expertise.
- Help students prepare for exams and reinforce foundational concepts so they can improve their results.
- Keep in touch with students outside scheduled sessions when a reasonable level of communication is needed.
What the role requires
- Availability of at least 5 hours per week for tutoring.
- Strong academic performance, including high school and/or university grades in the 95th percentile or above.
- A genuine interest in education and teaching, ideally with prior tutoring experience.
- Careful attention to detail along with solid planning and organisational ability.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
