AC Retail Installer

Job Summary

The AC Retail Installer will handle residential HVAC installation work, ensuring heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems are fitted according to manufacturer instructions, industry regulations, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install ductwork in homes.
• Fit HVAC units, thermostats, grilles, and piping in residential properties.
• Keep installation quality aligned with company expectations.
• Follow all safety rules and jobsite safety practices at all times.
• Prepare and submit operational reports as needed.
• Keep skills and job knowledge current through ongoing learning.
• Coordinate with coworkers and other team members to review project details.
• Operate a company vehicle when required and be comfortable doing so.
• Take on any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good people skills and customer service orientation.
• Well-developed organization and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to use hand tools, testing equipment, and install replacement or new parts safely.
• Self-driven attitude with the ability to work efficiently and effectively.
• Owns the hand tools and power tools needed for the role.
• Capable of completing assigned work within the company’s expected timeframe.
• Open to learning new techniques and processes.
• Good physical coordination and dexterity.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The role also calls for 5 years of experience installing residential ductwork or HVAC equipment independently as an AC Retail Installer.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to lift between 50 and 100 lbs. when needed.
