Yard Operative

Role overview

We are hiring a Yard Operative for our Chester Operation Centre in CH5 2QZ. This is a Monday to Friday role with no bank holiday shifts, offering a strong work-life balance and more personal time outside work.

What the role involves

You will be part of a hands-on outdoor team that plays an important part in the day-to-day running of the operation. The role suits someone who enjoys working with vehicles, is comfortable working outdoors in all weather, and can respond quickly to customer needs while meeting service deadlines. You will help ensure vehicles are stored and cared for according to both customer and company expectations, and you will use a handheld device to capture vehicle images.

Pay

The annual salary for this position is £29,046.

Working pattern

Work is scheduled from Monday to Friday, with no requirement to work bank holidays.

Skills and experience needed

We are looking for someone who holds a full driving licence, communicates clearly, and delivers strong customer service. You should be detail-focused, comfortable using handheld devices and basic IT tools, able to juggle several tasks in a busy setting, and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
