Role overview
This full-time position is based across multiple sites in Merseyside and the Wirral. The role involves 37 hours per week, with occasional out-of-hours work when operational needs require it. You will work as part of a small, collaborative team delivering a mix of internal and external property and estate cleaning services. The work includes general cleaning across static and mobile locations, waste collection, planned works support, and window cleaning, all aimed at maintaining clean, well-presented, and welcoming schemes and estates for customers.

Key duties
- Carry out window cleaning at assigned Onward schemes in line with the required specification and agreed timescales.
- Clean communal internal and external glazing, fenestrations, and plastics where needed, and on higher-level schemes use a pure water-fed pole system for work that may also include gutter cleaning.
- Represent the organisation professionally in a customer-facing role while reflecting its values, objectives, and standards.
- Maintain a polite, approachable, and respectful manner with colleagues, customers, and others.
- Deliver consistently high-quality work in line with the service specification and standards.
- Set a strong example for other team members, including apprentices and seasonal staff.
- Complete reporting accurately and follow all safety procedures, keeping records professional and up to date.
- Identify areas needing additional repair, attention, or future planned work.
- Work to strict health and safety standards and support a strong safety-first culture.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry legislation.
- Carry out routine checks on plant, tools, and machinery and keep assigned equipment safe and secure.
- Monitor consumable stock levels and arrange replacements in good time.
Requirements
- Experience in a comparable role using pure water-fed pole systems of different lengths.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and respond quickly to changing needs.
- Comfort with following procedures and producing operational performance data in both digital and paper formats.
- Strong awareness of health and safety for colleagues, the public, and the environment.
- BWCA water-fed pole training is desirable.
