The hiring company is seeking a Virtual Project Manager in Canada to help shape and scale a fast-growing digital academy for entrepreneurs building trade-based businesses.

The role combines project delivery, product improvement, and business growth. You will take responsibility for an existing online academy and help transform it into a more scalable learning ecosystem with strong learner outcomes. This position calls for someone who can balance structured project leadership with an entrepreneurial approach, while supporting program development, operational improvement, and remote collaboration across multiple stakeholders.

You will work entirely virtually with instructors, mentors, and other team members across different business areas, and your work will have a direct effect on both student success and broader business performance.

Key accountabilities

• Take full ownership of the virtual academy platform, overseeing its development, daily performance, and ongoing enhancements to the learner experience.
• Create and grow training initiatives that help technicians and entrepreneurs start and expand businesses across several home service sectors.
• Organize, guide, and support a distributed group of instructors, mentors, and operations personnel so they can deliver effective learning experiences.
• Improve enrollment, learner participation, retention, and business results through well-structured program changes and growth-focused initiatives.
• Develop repeatable systems, workflows, and operating processes that can support expansion into additional markets and regions.
• Track performance metrics, interpret results, and apply data-led improvements that align with strategic goals.
• Ensure day-to-day execution stays aligned with the wider business vision while keeping programs and initiatives running efficiently.

Requirements

• Background in project management or product management, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, business education, or digital learning settings.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and grow remote or distributed teams.
• Entrepreneurial outlook, with prior experience or a strong interest in developing and scaling digital products or business training programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication, planning, and stakeholder coordination skills in dynamic, fast-moving environments.
• Capability to create structured processes, manage competing priorities, and carry work through from concept to completion.
• Advantageous if you have exposure to trade industries, vocational learning, or business education tied to real operational businesses.
