Role Overview

EMPIRE is hiring a Vice President, Content Operations to lead content operations for a new business unit. The position focuses on end-to-end release delivery to DSPs, establishing quality assurance standards, and serving as a key point of contact for distribution partners, label partners, and customers. What You Will Do

  • Oversee content operations for the new business unit, including the design of content QA workflows and customer/DSP relationship management.
  • Handle the preparation and delivery of audio and video assets for customers and DSPs, including metadata updates and quality checks.
  • Expand distribution capabilities by building processes and systems with teams across product, engineering, legal, and royalties.
  • Maintain day-to-day relationships with DSP content teams and content providers.
  • Coordinate asset approvals between external content providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Recruit, structure, and lead the content team, including hiring planning and people management.

Experience and Background Needed

  • 7 to 10 years of experience managing large-scale digital supply chain distribution.
  • A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • A solid history of successfully delivering audio and video content in the music industry.
  • Experience working with international teams across multiple time zones.
