The hotel is hiring a Valet Porter to help create a smooth and welcoming stay for guests from arrival to departure.

Key duties

• Welcome guests on arrival and assist them again when they depart.
• Use strong knowledge of the hotel’s facilities and services to point guests in the right direction.
• Handle luggage and parcels to support efficient check-in and check-out flows.
• Suggest local places to visit, dine, and travel to, and help arrange relevant bookings.
• Support valet parking operations and safely look after guests’ vehicles.

What we are looking for

• Must hold a valid New Zealand driving licence, either full or restricted.
• Strong guest-handling skills with a warm, approachable style.
• Clear communication and the ability to solve problems quickly when guest needs arise.
• Good familiarity with the Wellington area and nearby attractions.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy suitcases.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
