UX Designer

Role overview

This contract opportunity is for a UX/UI specialist supporting a client project focused on improving a platform used by a global audience. The work centers on turning user insights into practical interface solutions that make the experience more intuitive and effective.

Work location and type

The position is fully remote and open to candidates working from any location. It is a contract assignment.

Compensation

The hourly payout for this role is between $15 and $85.

Key responsibilities

You will study how people use the product, identify friction points, and uncover opportunities to improve the experience. The role also involves producing detailed wireframes, prototypes, and mockups with standard design tools, while partnering with product and engineering teams to keep designs practical to build. You will run usability tests, refine designs from feedback, and help maintain consistent design systems and style guidance across the platform.

Required background and skills

Candidates should be comfortable using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD and must be able to present a portfolio demonstrating UI work. The role calls for experience with user research, strong accessibility awareness, and the ability to design for both web and mobile screens. Familiarity with Agile or other iterative product development workflows is also expected.
