Role Overview
Quantum Vision is seeking an entry-level Proposal Writer who can create polished, persuasive proposal content that communicates the company’s value clearly. The role calls for solid writing and editing ability, comfort with review meetings and final document checks, and the capacity to support document production from start to finish.
This position is best suited to someone who can handle pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and contribute effectively to a fast-paced proposal environment.
Work Schedule and Location
This is an onsite role in Hyderabad, India. The working hours follow the Indian night shift: 9:00 PM EST to 6:00 PM EST, which corresponds to 6:30 PM IST to 3:30 AM IST. Candidates should be fully comfortable working this schedule, including daylight saving time adjustments.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead on responses to SLED and federal government RFPs at the IDIQ and Task Order level, as well as other contract-program-level submissions.
- Run storyboard sessions with bid and proposal team members along with key stakeholders.
- Review RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs to build response outlines and compliance matrices.
- Research, plan, draft, and refine compliant technical content and persuasive proposal material.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to gather and validate content.
- Support the Bid/Proposal Manager in building proposals.
- Update and adapt existing pre-approved content whenever it can be reused effectively.
- Submit finished proposal responses to the Proposal Manager by the agreed deadline and raise concerns early when needed.
- Contribute to broader proposal strategy and ongoing support efforts.
- Follow every stage of the pursuit and proposal workflow to help ensure strong, high-quality submissions.
- Prepare proposals, qualification materials, presentations, and other meeting documents to a high standard.
- Maintain consistency, readability, and overall quality by using templates and keeping the proposal support database organized.
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure proposals are delivered successfully.
- Save newly developed proposal content in shared drives for future reuse.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of proposal writing and proposal development.
- Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capacity to handle several assignments at the same time.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills for interacting with different audiences by phone and email.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience maintaining or updating a knowledge base system would be an added advantage.
