What you will do
- Use machines, equipment, and hand tools to assemble, take apart, and inspect engines, modules, parts, and accessories.
- Read and apply standard operating procedures to keep work consistent and aligned with technical requirements.
- Identify and fix technical issues encountered during day-to-day production work so operations stay efficient.
- Assist Assistant Foremen and Cell Leaders in meeting production and operational goals.
- Carry out SAP transactions, including making updates and changes to work orders when needed.
- Take part in EH&S initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and uphold strong ethics and compliance standards.
Qualifications required
You should have a NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar engineering field, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience in engine or module assembly, disassembly, inspection, or testing. A solid grasp of technical drawings and manuals is important. The role suits someone who is careful, detail-focused, practical, proactive, and keen to keep learning. You must also be prepared to work rotating day and night shifts and stay for overtime when operational needs require it.
Preferred background
Experience in Engine MRO or the aerospace sector is an advantage. Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and SAP is also preferred.
