Technical Services 5S Support

Overview

Reynolds Consumer Products is hiring for a Technical Services 5S Support role at its manufacturing site in Lewiston, Utah. This is an immediate opening in a fast-paced, high-performance environment that offers competitive hourly pay and benefits. The position is based on-site and is intended for local candidates only, as relocation assistance is not provided.

The pay rate for this role is $26.69 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Support daily onboarding and training for newly hired or newly assigned team members.
• Follow safe work practices that protect both people and the environment.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Carry out housekeeping and 5S duties in the assigned area.
• Complete tasks in line with standard work instructions.
• Help maintain 5S standards across buildings and grounds, including scheduled painting, sealing, and cleaning of floors and walls.
• Manage multiple tasks independently and determine priorities effectively.
• Gather the tools, materials, and information needed to complete 5S work.
• Assist with snow removal and salting around plant entrances, employee walkways, recycling bins, and resin silos during shift hours after snowfall.
• Support TPM team members with assigned TPM activities.
• Help with accident and near-miss reporting and investigations.
• Follow GMP requirements to help ensure safe food-packaging products and report any food safety concerns to the appropriate authority.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts, with the ability to earn forklift certification.
• Comfort with basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Physical ability to handle standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting as part of normal job duties.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a mobile equipment license for forklifts, bobcat, and aerial lifts.
• Comfort working at heights, including stairs on roofs and silos.
• Reading and writing skills at a high school level or better.
• Ability to remain on feet and walk for 80% to 90% of the scheduled workday.
• Ability to meet plant attendance expectations.
• Prior manufacturing-facility experience is preferred.
• Experience operating mobile equipment is preferred.
• Two years of related work experience, such as construction or painting, is preferred.
• Basic math ability is preferred.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills are preferred.
• Willingness to learn computer data entry is preferred.
