Position overview
The Supply Chain Analyst supports the supply chain function and works closely with internal stakeholders to improve processes, strengthen reporting, and manage supplier cost and pricing data inside the ERP system.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and study operational data to help the management team drive improvement initiatives across supply chain activities.
- Keep supplier cost records current and apply necessary updates in the ERP platform.
- Track supplier delivery performance and other core KPIs, then share results with the Director of Corporate Supply Chain.
- Use Excel and ERP tools to search, extract, filter, and verify data.
- Run analyses across different parts of the operation to highlight issues and identify required actions.
- Review data patterns to spot problem areas and recommend practical improvements to supply chain leadership.
- Create metrics that measure the progress of improvement plans.
- Gather information needed to support regulatory compliance requirements.
- Help support the company’s inventory right-sizing efforts.
- Automate recurring tasks that are currently handled manually in Excel.
- Prepare and send standard weekly and monthly supply chain reports.
- Handle additional duties as needed.
Education and experience
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. If a degree is not available, equivalent direct work experience with proven knowledge may be considered in its place.
Applicants should have 1 to 3 years of experience in a business setting with analytical responsibilities.
Required skills and competencies
- Hands-on experience with data mining, analysis, reporting, and presenting findings to management
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros
- Strong spreadsheet, math, and general Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work with MRP and demand planning tools is an advantage
- Clear communication and strong collaboration across internal and external stakeholders
- Solid analytical, critical thinking, and planning abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for meetings and cross-functional discussions
- High attention to detail, self-motivation, discipline, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
