Role overview
This full-time, on-site Store Driver role in St. Catharines, Ontario is centered on delivering parts to professional customers, supporting store operations, and helping drive sales through customer interaction and product promotion.
What you will do
- Collect, organize, and safely deliver parts to professional customers.
- Retrieve returns and cores from customers.
- Distribute weekly and monthly promotional flyers while supporting active sales campaigns and loyalty initiatives.
- Handle daily collection of credit account payments.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, and share delivery-based customer insights with the CPP.
- Support upselling and cross-selling efforts to help raise average transaction value.
- Keep the store neat and organized, including floors, restrooms, front-facing displays, dusting, and the parking lot.
- Assist with stocking tasks such as truck unloading, back stock management, and cycle counts.
- Stay current on inventory and new product arrivals to better support sales efforts.
- Welcome walk-in customers, assess their needs, and suggest suitable parts or services.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.

You should be able to speak and write English well; Spanish is an added advantage. The role requires effective communication and the ability to build solid relationships with customers, peers, and leadership. You must also be prepared to work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
Experience preferred
Previous automotive parts experience is preferred.
Education and licensing
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. You must also have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company standards.
Physical requirements
This job involves regular walking and standing, along with frequent use of hands and fingers. You may also need to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The role requires frequent lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting or moving of up to 100 pounds with assistance. Required vision includes close, distance, color, depth, and focus adjustment capabilities.
Work environment
The position is usually performed indoors, but outdoor exposure may happen occasionally, including in varying weather conditions when installing batteries and wiper blades. You may also encounter moving machinery, elevated areas, chemicals, electrical shock hazards, explosives, and vibration. Noise levels are generally moderate.
Compensation and benefits
The expected pay range for this role is CAD 17.60 to CAD 18.85 per hour for a new team member. Actual pay depends on factors such as location, retail experience, automotive knowledge, education, leadership experience, other relevant skills, and shift differential if applicable.
