Role overview
Nua Healthcare Services is seeking committed and compassionate Social Care Workers for its County Limerick frontline team. What the job involves
- Help individuals plan, structure, and manage daily routines and activities.
- Encourage and support participation in the local community to strengthen inclusion, independence, and social connection.
- Support service users with education, training, personal development, and goal achievement.
- Assist with practical independent living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and maintaining family and social relationships.
- Follow company policies, procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice in line with organisational and legal requirements.
- Work flexibly within a 24-hour, 7-day service to maintain continuity of care and meet service needs.

Qualifications and experience
- A Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Social Studies, or a closely related field is required.
- Registration with the appropriate professional body, including CORU where relevant, is required.
- Experience in social care or a support-focused environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- A full driving licence is required, or the candidate must be actively working toward obtaining one.
- Applicants must be flexible and reliable across varying shift patterns.
