In this senior Services Sales Expert position, you will drive the growth of SAP Services across strategic public-sector customers in Qatar. The role centers on executive-level relationship building, understanding customer pain points, and creating service-led transformation plans that lead to measurable business results.
You will own the sales journey end to end: identifying opportunities, progressing deals, closing business, and coordinating a clean handoff to delivery teams. In practice, you represent SAP Services for your assigned accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop trusted, long-term relationships with senior decision-makers while building a deep understanding of each customer’s technology environment, priorities, and market context.
- Serve as the main point of contact for SAP Services across your assigned accounts.
- Create strategic account plans using SAP’s intelligent tools to address customer needs and growth opportunities.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and partners to support effective sales execution.
- Be accountable for Services bookings and revenue performance in your territory.
- Drive opportunity generation, manage bids, and close complex deals through the full sales cycle while keeping proposals commercially strong and aligned with SAP governance.
- Promote SAP’s full Services portfolio based on client requirements.
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and forecasting within internal systems.
- Oversee the transition from sales into delivery, ensuring contracts, scope, and expectations are clearly defined.
- Support delivery teams on the commercial side of active engagements.
- Make sure customer expectations, obligations, and success measures are aligned.
- Work closely with Account Executives and other cross-functional sales teams, and collaborate effectively with SAP ecosystem and technology partners.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience selling enterprise software and/or IT services, with a strong record of carrying quota and delivering results.
- Demonstrated success closing medium to large complex deals in competitive, consultative sales environments.
- Background handling large multinational customers and long, multi-stage sales cycles.
- Arabic fluency is mandatory.
- Direct experience closing large public-sector deals in Qatar is essential.
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications, including cloud, hybrid, and X+O environments, as well as application lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to grow pipeline, forecast accurately, and work closely with Account Executives.
