Role summary

House of EdTech is seeking a senior-level video editor who can combine strong editing fundamentals with modern AI-assisted content creation. The role involves shaping compelling stories for learners across the company’s educational brands, using a mix of conventional tools and next-generation AI platforms.

You will contribute to a fast-growing content studio whose work reaches millions of learners in India and international markets. The position is based in Bengaluru and follows a work-from-office model.

Location: Bengaluru (Kudlu Gate)
Work arrangement: On-site
Employment type: Full-time
Experience needed: 3+ years in video editing or content creation
Work schedule: 6 days per week, with Sunday as the weekly off
Education: Graduate in any discipline; design, film, or media background is preferred

Key responsibilities

Edit long-form and short-form videos such as tutorials, explainers, and case studies, while also handling colour correction, quality checks, and platform-specific optimisation for YouTube and social channels.
Create AI-generated visuals, B-roll, avatars, and transitions using tools like Sora, Veo3, Runway, Midjourney, HeyGen, and ElevenLabs.
Develop story-driven concepts, scripts, and storyboards with a strong understanding of learner behavior and educational content flow.
Produce motion graphics, including infographics, title sequences, lower-thirds, and branded templates in After Effects.
Handle sound layering, voice syncing, and clean audio mixing by combining music, effects, and dialogue.
Keep project files organized, work to deadlines, and coordinate closely with educators and marketing teams.
