SAP BO Administrator

Role Overview

This position is for an experienced SAP BusinessObjects administrator to support and manage BI platform environments in Bengaluru. The role centers on platform maintenance, upgrades or migrations, and day-to-day administration of business intelligence components.

Key Responsibilities

You will work with SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.x and handle migration or upgrade activities, including transitions from BO XI or BO 3.x to BO 4.x, as well as version-to-version upgrades within BO 4.x.

• Administer Web Intelligence and Universe objects.
• Use Promotion Management and Lifecycle Management (LCM) for moving content across environments.
• Operate the Upgrade Management Tool (UMT) for upgrade-related tasks.
• Manage BI landscapes spanning development, QA, and production systems.
• Set up and maintain data sources, security roles, authentication methods, and access controls.

Required Experience

The ideal candidate should bring strong hands-on exposure to SAP BusinessObjects administration, including platform upgrades, migrations, and multi-environment support.

• Deep practical experience with SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.x.
• Experience in BO XI / BO 3.x to BO 4.x migrations or upgrade projects.
• Working knowledge of Web Intelligence and Universes.
• Hands-on use of Promotion Management and Lifecycle Management (LCM).
• Familiarity with UMT and BI environment administration.

Eligibility

Applicants with any graduation background are eligible. Candidates holding B.Tech or B.E. degrees in any specialization may also apply.

Compensation

The offered salary range is INR 4,75,000 to INR 9,00,000 per year.
