Role overview

Everlast Gyms is focused on creating an energetic, high-standard fitness experience where people are motivated by ambition, passion and strong service. This part-time, on-site Sales Host role in Cambridge is centred on helping grow membership, support retention and deliver an excellent experience to every prospect, member and visitor.

The role also supports the wider club operation, with opportunities to contribute to training sessions outside standard hours and to support group classes with additional development. Team members are expected to reflect the brand’s standards through professionalism, enthusiasm and a customer-first approach.

What you will do

• Create a strong first impression for prospects, members and guests, using every interaction as a chance to support both sales and retention.
• Increase membership sales, renewals, upgrades and secondary spend, including food and beverage, retail and fitness-related products.
• Turn enquiries into memberships by handling objections confidently, selling to customer needs and following up effectively.
• Strengthen member retention by building rapport, spotting members who may be at risk of leaving and suggesting suitable services or products to improve their results and experience.
• Lead personalised club tours based on each person’s goals and recommend relevant facilities and services to support upselling.
• Work towards and exceed individual and club performance targets.
• Act as a competent key holder when needed, helping ensure smooth opening, closing and shift coverage.
• Learn and confidently use the membership software and other systems provided through training.
• Represent the brand in fitness challenges, class concepts and the Workout Wednesday initiative to encourage engagement.
• Help maintain excellent cleanliness, hygiene and gym-floor presentation so the club consistently looks its best.
• Support the Head Coach with gym resets and other ad hoc fitness-related work on and off the gym floor.
• Stay well informed about the products and services available.
• Deal with member questions and complaints professionally, escalating issues to a manager when needed.
