Role Overview
The Sales Executive will focus on revenue generation, account growth, and strong customer relationships within the wholesale building materials segment. The position requires someone who can identify fresh business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and work closely with internal teams to consistently meet sales goals. A solid understanding of building materials and market trends will be important for advising customers and proposing the right solutions.
Location
Solapur, India. The role requires in-person work.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute sales approaches that help achieve and surpass revenue targets.
- Explore and convert new business opportunities in the building materials market.
- Study market movements and customer demand to guide sales efforts.
- Maintain lasting relationships with current customers as well as new prospects.
- Respond quickly to client queries and handle concerns with a service-first approach.
- Meet clients regularly to understand their needs and suggest suitable product solutions.
- Support product promotion and day-to-day sales operations.
- Work with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination and target achievement.
- Prepare and share reports, insights, and performance analysis as needed.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- Prior sales experience, ideally in wholesale building materials.
- Good knowledge of building materials, construction practices, and related industry standards.
- Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship building.
- Ability to manage client accounts and sustain long-term business relationships.
- Comfort using CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-driven, target-focused, and capable of working independently.
- Valid driving licence and readiness to travel when required.
