ملازمت کی تفصیل
Role overview
The Room Attendant position at Malmaison Leith is part of the housekeeping function and focuses on keeping guest bedrooms cleaned, refreshed, and presented to a consistently high standard each day. The role calls for a strong eye for detail, pride in workmanship, and a genuine commitment to creating an excellent stay for guests.
About the employer
Frasers Hospitality operates a collection of luxury and boutique hotels across 15 landmark locations in the United Kingdom. The brand is known for its style, warm hospitality, distinctive accommodation, and food and drink offerings through its Chez Mal Brasseries.
What the role involves
You will work alongside the housekeeping team to make sure rooms are ready for guest arrivals and maintained properly during their stay. The job includes direct guest interaction, so clear conversational English is important, along with the confidence to work independently for stretches of time.
The position generally follows set shifts, typically between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, five days out of seven. Start times are usually flexible between 9:00 am and 10:00 am, and earlier starts or other flexible arrangements can be discussed during the interview.
This is a physically active role and requires a reasonable level of fitness. Full training on cleaning chemicals and equipment will be provided. Previous experience in a similar job is not essential, but a positive attitude and a willingness to contribute are important.
Pay and working arrangement
The pay rate for this role is £13.01 per hour. Part-time contracts are available, and free parking is provided.
Development and progression
The company supports internal growth and career progression. After completing probation, suitable candidates may have the opportunity to join the apprenticeship scheme. The business is also aiming to add 100 new apprentices by the end of the year.
Additional benefits
In addition to competitive pay, the employer offers a wide range of employee benefits and lifestyle support, including discounted hotel stays, dining savings, wellbeing support, and sustainable work initiatives.
Equal opportunity note
The company welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates and makes hiring decisions without regard to race, sex, disability, religion or belief, sexual orientation, or age.
