Role Overview
The LEGO Group is seeking a Store Manager to lead the retail location at Yorkdale Shopping Center in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will set the tone for the store by bringing the LEGO brand, vision, and values to life in daily operations and every guest interaction. The goal is to create an environment where creativity and imagination thrive while delivering strong sales results and memorable customer experiences.
What You Will Do
- Drive strong performance by tracking key metrics, solving business challenges, keeping store operations efficient, and ensuring high standards for merchandising and cleanliness.
- Set the standard for guest service by following the service model, completing monthly mystery shops, encouraging repeat visits, and coaching associates to deliver standout branded experiences.
- Lead hiring, development, and performance management efforts to build a collaborative, high-performing store team.
- Provide ongoing coaching, product knowledge, and service training so team members continue to grow and improve.
- Help employees understand what a LEGO brand experience should feel like and identify strong future leaders for advancement.
- Work closely with peers, partners, and other stakeholders to support overall business success and maintain a positive, cooperative workplace.
- Deliver retail experiences that reflect LEGO brand values and inspire guests of all ages.

Experience and Skills Needed
- Previous management experience in a retail setting.
- Hands-on experience with point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of loss prevention and cash handling.
- Experience in recruiting, selecting, and training team members.
- Ability to handle scheduling and payroll processes.
- Strong performance management and conflict resolution capabilities.
- Understanding of space planning and visual merchandising.
- Strong organization, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Comfort with computers and standard business software.
Physical Requirements
The position involves frequent movement, speaking, hearing, reaching, grasping, and standing for at least two hours at a time. At times, the role may also require stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. You must be able to see up close, judge depth, and adjust focus. Lifting up to 30 lbs is part of the job.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this role ranges from $70,385.85 to $105,578.77. A bonus opportunity with a target of 17.5% of annual base pay is also included. Final compensation details, including benefits, will be confirmed when the employment offer is completed.

Workplace Information
