Role overview

As a Resource Manager, you will lead a high-volume contingent hiring function for Australia and the APAC region at WWT. You will work side by side with sales account teams and operational groups around the world to support fast-moving, strategic resource initiatives.

  • Lead negotiations with account teams, partners, and customers on staffing and fulfillment choices.
  • Assess business opportunities internally and externally to judge whether they are viable.
  • Spot roadblocks that affect sales progress and build practical ways to overcome them.
  • Build, sustain, and expand profitable relationships with partner organizations.
  • Handle questions, concerns, and issues that arise during partner engagements.
  • Keep partners updated regularly on projects, possible opportunities, new business, and current business status.
  • Share candidate progress promptly with partners involved in interviews.
  • Source talent for roles across multiple teams, locations, and seniority levels, from entry level through director.
  • Use a range of sourcing methods to find large volumes of candidates directly and through staffing partners while meeting business service-level expectations.
  • Assess capability levels, run efficient and professional interviews, and move the offer process forward.
  • Maintain active candidate pipelines and provide regular recruiting updates.
  • Manage the full candidate journey, including opportunity positioning, technical exercises, phone screening, interview coordination, feedback consolidation, hiring recommendations, offers, background checks, and pre-employment steps.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in high-volume end-to-end recruitment, especially in staffing or contingent workforce environments across Australia and APAC.
  • Substantial resourcing experience, ideally in technical IT areas such as networking, infrastructure, cloud, or security.
  • Hands-on experience with recruitment databases, CRM tools, Excel, and human resources information systems.
  • Background in consulting and leading significant change efforts, preferably in staffing-related initiatives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal capability.
  • Comfort working as a strategic resourcing representative for internal stakeholders and as part of a resourcing team.
  • Strong planning, organization, and time management skills.
  • Sound judgment, with proven problem-solving and negotiation ability.
