About the Company
Aisling's Taste of Home Limited is an Irish family-run food brand established in 2023 by Aisling O'Toole. Inspired by a lifelong passion for home baking and built on strong family values, the company produces handcrafted, award-winning bread using locally sourced Irish ingredients. Production is carried out by Stapleton's Family Bakery in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary.
In 2021, Aisling won the National Brown Bread Baking Championship. The product range includes the signature Brown Bread and Aisling’s Traditional Brown Bread, the latter made with rescued grains from Irish distilleries as a fully sustainable ingredient. Both breads are high in fibre, low in fat, approved by Slimming World, and stocked in Dunnes Stores nationwide.
The brand has a strong story, premium positioning, and is entering a significant phase of growth across Ireland.
Role Overview
The business is looking for a motivated, personable Regional Sales Executive to help expand its footprint across a designated territory. This is a full-time hybrid position open to candidates anywhere in Ireland. The successful applicant will work closely with the founder and wider team to grow sales, win new stockists, and strengthen brand visibility.
As one of the first dedicated sales hires, this role offers a high level of independence and the chance to influence how the brand develops in the market. The position also includes Saturday work to support in-store tasting activity, which is central to driving consumer trial and brand awareness.
Key Duties
You will act as the brand’s primary representative in your region, combining sales, field activation, merchandising, and content creation. The role involves building relationships with current and potential stockists, delivering tastings, and helping ensure strong presentation at retail level. When not out in the field, you will contribute to the brand’s social media presence with authentic content that reflects its warmth and personality.
Sales and Business Development
- Spot and pursue new commercial opportunities within your region
- Expand distribution by securing additional stockists
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts
- Work toward agreed sales goals and KPIs
In-Store Tastings and Brand Activation
- Organise and deliver in-store tasting sessions to encourage trial and awareness
- Work Saturdays as needed for tasting events and brand activation
- Represent the company with enthusiasm and professionalism at all times
Social Media and Content
- Create engaging content for non-field days, including posts, stories, and short-form video
- Keep the brand tone consistent across Instagram and Facebook
- Work with the founder on campaign ideas, seasonal activity, and content themes
- Track engagement and reply to comments and messages in a prompt, friendly way
Merchandising and Retail Execution
- Ensure products are well displayed and correctly placed in store
- Keep an eye on shelf standards, stock availability, and promotional activity
- Share field feedback with the team to support marketing and sales decisions
Relationship Management
- Build positive working relationships with buyers, store managers, and other key contacts
- Attend trade events, food shows, and networking opportunities where required
- Represent the brand with energy, confidence, and genuine passion for the product
Planning and Reporting
- Plan and manage your own diary and territory independently
- Keep accurate records of visits, pipeline activity, and account performance
- Provide regular updates to the founder and senior team
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is warm, outgoing, commercially aware, and comfortable connecting with people. You should have a genuine interest in food, provenance, and quality Irish produce, along with the confidence to communicate persuasively in person. Strong organisation, independence, adaptability, and a polished presentation are essential. The role suits someone who is active on social media, comfortable making content, and happy to work in a varied field-based role that includes Saturdays.
Experience and Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in FMCG food sales or a closely related area is required. Experience in hospitality is highly valued, as is a background in merchandising or retail execution in an FMCG or food setting. You should have a history of meeting sales targets, building customer relationships, and using digital tools for reporting. A full, clean driving licence is essential. Strong Microsoft Office skills are needed, and experience with artisan, premium, or Irish food brands would be an advantage.
Pay and Benefits
The package includes a base salary starting from €27,500, depending on experience, plus a performance-linked bonus tied to sales targets. Additional benefits include a company vehicle, flexible hybrid working, and full training and induction from day one.
Equal Opportunity Statement
The employer welcomes applications from people of all backgrounds and is committed to equal opportunity. Hiring decisions are made without discrimination based on race, age, gender, civil status, family status, disability, sexuality, religion, or membership of the Travelling Community.
