Overview
A well-established financial services organization in Manhattan is looking for a Recruiter to support hiring on a hybrid schedule. This role will be central to managing full-cycle recruitment across multiple business areas, with a strong emphasis on attracting high-caliber talent for the financial services space.
This opportunity is suited to a recruiter who performs at a high level, understands the industry well, works comfortably in a fast-moving setting, and enjoys collaborating closely with business leaders to meet hiring goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the complete recruitment process for a broad mix of positions, including front-office, operations, and corporate roles.
- Work with hiring managers and senior leaders to clarify hiring requirements and build focused sourcing plans.
- Search for and connect with strong candidates through direct outreach, networking, and employee referrals.
- Handle candidate screening and guide searches from first contact through offer stage.
- Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines, especially for financial services roles.
- Share labor market updates, compensation recommendations, and hiring metrics with internal stakeholders.
- Keep the candidate journey smooth, professional, and efficient while managing several active openings at once.
Qualifications
- 5 to 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in financial services, banking, or similar industries.
- Demonstrated success recruiting for a wide range of roles and seniority levels.
- Strong capability in sourcing and engaging passive talent.
- Experience handling a large requisition load in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Comfort using ATS systems such as Workday, Taleo, or iCIMS, along with sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing shifting priorities and competing deadlines.
Preferred Background
- Prior experience inside a financial institution such as a bank, asset manager, insurer, or fintech company.
- Exposure to both corporate roles and revenue-producing functions.
Work Environment & Compensation
- Location: Manhattan, New York City.
- Hybrid work model with 2 to 3 days per week in the office.
- Base salary range: $115,000 to $125,000.
- Discretionary, performance-based bonus opportunity.
