Reporting to the Vice President, Product & GTM, this role focuses on strengthening the core mobile app experience for players interacting with creator-led content. The aim is to improve discovery, engagement, and return visits across priority markets while keeping the product intuitive, scalable, safe, and aligned to a shared global platform.
The position supports key app areas such as onboarding, home and discovery, content detail pages, profiles, notifications, social interactions, and in-app guidance. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, analytics, growth, trust and safety, and regional teams to raise activation, retention, and overall product quality.
Key responsibilities
- Own roadmap segments for the Global App experience while balancing company objectives with regional user needs.
- Set and monitor core product metrics such as activation, day 1 and day 7 retention, engagement, session frequency, and feature usage.
- Spot pain points in the player journey and drive improvements in onboarding, discovery, navigation, and engagement loops.
- Work with design and engineering teams to ship polished, easy-to-use mobile experiences.
- Coordinate with regional partners to adapt UX, messaging, and in-app education for local markets.
- Partner with growth teams on lifecycle prompts, notifications, referrals, and re-engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with trust and safety and policy stakeholders to build safety into the product, including reporting mechanisms and age-appropriate experiences.
- Use analytics, research, and experimentation to guide prioritisation and improve outcomes.
- Support launches, rollout planning, beta testing, issue review, and continuous quality improvements across markets.
Requirements
- 4 to 7 years of product management experience in consumer mobile products, apps, games, social platforms, or user-generated content ecosystems.
- Proven experience launching user-facing features that improved activation, engagement, retention, or app quality.
- Strong product thinking across mobile UX, discovery, engagement loops, and lifecycle design.
- Ability to use data and experiments to assess performance and make prioritisation decisions.
- Experience working with engineering, design, data, growth, trust and safety, and regional stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of localisation, cultural adaptation, and global product considerations.
- Strong written and spoken Mandarin and English communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, HCI, Design, Economics, Business, or a related area; equivalent experience is also acceptable.
