Product Designer

Role overview

We are hiring a Product Designer to define how developers experience an AI-powered search platform. The role focuses on turning technically complex workflows into clear, polished, and enjoyable product experiences.

You will help craft everything from API documentation to interactive playgrounds, with the goal of making sophisticated AI search tools feel approachable and easy to use for technical users.

Key responsibilities

• Design interfaces for the developer dashboard and related product tools.
• Build interactive prototypes and maintain design system assets.
• Work with developer communities to gather insights through research.
• Partner closely with engineers so the final product is implemented accurately and at a high visual standard.
• Create visual representations for embeddings, search outputs, and other data-heavy views.
• Help expand and improve the design system and reusable component library.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in product design.
• A portfolio that shows strong work in B2B products or developer-facing tools.
• Hands-on ability with Figma or comparable design software.
• Working knowledge of frontend development and the limits of implementation.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.

Nice-to-have experience

• Background designing products for developers or highly technical audiences.
• Exposure to data visualization or information design.
• Familiarity with accessibility practices and standards.
• Experience working with design systems and component libraries.
