About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an organised and proactive Procurement & Supply Chain Coordinator based in Bray, County Wicklow. The position suits someone with purchasing and supply chain experience who performs well in a busy, high-pressure environment and takes pride in keeping materials and products moving on time while securing strong value for the business.
The role plays an important part in supplier coordination, stock control, purchase order management, and early issue resolution so that operations and customers are not affected by supply chain disruptions.
Working Arrangements
This is a fully on-site position in Bray, Co. Wicklow. Working hours are Monday to Friday during standard business hours, with no weekend requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, check, and oversee purchase orders, making sure quantities, pricing, and delivery timelines are correct.
- Develop productive supplier relationships, confirm lead times, and handle delivery-related problems.
- Keep inventory under review and arrange replenishment before stock shortages arise.
- Look into and fix dispatch problems such as missing items, late deliveries, or incorrect goods.
- Monitor incoming supplier deliveries, chase overdue orders, and share accurate updates on expected delivery times.
- Agree competitive pricing, commercial terms, and volume-based discounts where appropriate.
- Work closely with production, warehouse, and finance teams to support smooth supply chain activity and reliable stock records.
- Spot ways to improve purchasing workflows, supplier performance, and overall supply chain efficiency.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience in a demanding manufacturing, distribution, engineering, or technical setting. You should have a strong grasp of supply chain and stock management processes, along with the confidence to communicate and negotiate effectively with suppliers.
Strong organisational ability, the capacity to balance several priorities at once, and a methodical approach to deadlines are essential. Experience with ERP or purchasing software is needed, and familiarity with Sage would be an advantage. You should also be analytical, solutions-focused, and attentive to detail so that key materials and products are available when required.
What’s on Offer
The salary for this role is €38,000 to €55,000, depending on experience. This is a permanent, full-time role with weekday working hours only, based fully on site. It also offers the chance to join a growing company where your work will directly influence procurement and supply chain performance.
