Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position supports the smooth operation of the pool area at Hilton Hotel The Pearl and Residence in Doha. The Pool Attendant is responsible for keeping the environment safe, organized, and guest-ready while maintaining high service standards throughout the day.

Key Duties

• Keep watch over the pool area and make sure guests follow the posted pool rules.
• Identify risks, unsafe conditions, or incidents quickly and pass them on without delay.
• Prepare and arrange loungers, umbrellas, and towels so the area is ready for use.
• Maintain a tidy, clean, and orderly pool deck at all times.
• Support guests by helping them with seating, basic directions, and pool-related requests.
• Check water clarity regularly and help uphold pool safety procedures.
• Work alongside housekeeping and maintenance teams when support is needed.
• Carry out light poolside service tasks, including collecting used towels and assisting with poolside events when required.

Candidate Profile

• You should be able to supervise pool areas, apply safety procedures, and stay composed during emergencies or urgent situations.
• A courteous, professional, and service-oriented approach is important.
• Basic housekeeping and organizational ability is needed to keep the area presentable and well managed.
• The role requires physical stamina for long periods of standing, moving pool furniture, and working outdoors in changing weather.
• Experience in hospitality, recreation, or pool operations is considered an advantage.
• Basic English communication skills are required, and other languages are helpful when serving international guests.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred, and related certifications will be viewed positively.
• Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is necessary based on hotel needs.
