Key duties

- Strong listening skills and the ability to explain information clearly to people with different levels of knowledge.

- Sound judgment in reviewing information, identifying issues, and finding timely solutions.
- Professional customer service approach with tact and diplomacy, especially when handling concerns or complaints.
Experience and qualifications
- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification.
- At least one year of full-cycle payroll processing experience in a large, complex payroll environment.
- Grade 12, along with relevant coursework from the National Payroll Institute or other post-secondary studies, may also be considered.
- Experience in a unionized workplace and familiarity with PeopleSoft are considered advantages.
