Role overview
As an Optometrist based in Nowra, New South Wales, you will join a supportive, patient-focused practice environment with access to modern diagnostic equipment. The position is centred on understanding each patient’s visual needs and lifestyle, then providing tailored care while building lasting relationships in the local community.
What you will do
- Carry out full eye examinations for a varied patient base, including children, contact lens wearers, and therapeutic cases.
- Match optical recommendations to each patient’s clinical needs and day-to-day lifestyle.
- Explain examination results and treatment or management plans in a clear, patient-friendly way.
- Work closely with the store team to create a smooth and positive patient journey.
- Use available technology effectively and apply Medicare billing appropriately to support quality clinical practice.
