Mortgage Loan Processor

Role overview

This contract position is for a Mortgage Loan Processor working remotely in the United States for a 6+ month engagement. The role offers pay in the range of $30 to $40 per hour.

What you will do

• Support borrowers, clients, and approved third parties directly throughout the loan process.
• Handle document collection and application intake from start to finish.
• Review loan files at a detailed level and prepare complete submission packages for underwriting.
• Examine a variety of mortgage documents and ensure they meet eligibility standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and spoken interactions.
• Organize competing priorities and manage time effectively to keep files moving.

Experience and education

A high school diploma is required, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in mortgage processing supporting loan origination or servicing activities.
