ملازمت کی تفصیل

About the Company

Ramesh Textiles India Pvt. Ltd. is a vertically integrated home textile manufacturer based in Indore. The company exports flannel bedding and other home textile products to more than 15 countries across Europe, the USA, and Australia.

Role Overview

This is an ownership-driven merchandising role. You will be accountable for an order end to end, starting from the moment a purchase order is received until the buyer gives final delivery approval. The position is not limited to coordination; it requires you to ensure progress, resolve blockers, and escalate issues promptly with a practical solution.

Key Work Areas

You will build and manage execution plans for each order, including trims, approvals, production timelines, and delivery schedules. The role also covers buyer communication, vendor follow-up, daily production tracking, shipment coordination, documentation, and regular reporting.

  • Review PIs received from the sales team and immediately identify items that need attention or buyer discussion.
  • Create and maintain execution plans for all orders within timelines, and keep the portal updated.
  • Obtain buyer approvals and place purchase orders for trims such as labels, threads, poly bags, cartons, tags, and packing material.
  • Negotiate pricing and lead times with vendors for every requirement.
  • Handle all communication with buyers, including order acknowledgements, strike-off approvals, PP sample approvals, shipment sample approvals, production updates, shipment notices, TNA follow-ups, and other queries, in professional English.
  • Monitor daily production performance and compare target versus actual output; if any order slips by more than 10% in a day, flag it the same day with a recovery plan.
  • Coordinate dispatch activities, confirm label and carton counts before shipment, and physically sign off before goods leave.
  • Share packing lists and related shipment details with the dispatch team.
  • Maintain a master order tracker that is updated every day for every order and every status.
  • Send an evening status update summarizing progress, risks, and decisions needed from management.
  • Submit a one-page weekly order report every Friday by 4:00 PM without reminders.

Performance Expectations

Performance will be judged on on-time shipments, quick buyer responses, zero production stoppages caused by trim delays, proactive escalation of issues before they reach management, and a tracker that is always current.

  • On-time shipment rate of at least 95%.
  • Buyer queries answered within 24 working hours.
  • No production stoppages caused by trim-related delays.
  • No buyer complaint should reach management before you raise it.
  • Master order tracker must remain fully up to date at all times.
  • Weekly Friday report must be submitted by 4:00 PM every week without reminder.

Non-Negotiable Working Standards

  • The buyer must never be the first person to learn about a problem in the order.
  • All approvals and packing instructions must be documented in writing; verbal discussions alone are not considered valid.
  • Whenever there is a delay or issue, it must be communicated together with the reason, action plan, and revised timeline.
  • The weekly Friday report is mandatory and not optional.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate has handled export merchandising independently, is comfortable working under pressure, and can communicate clearly with international buyers. The role requires strong organization, accountability, and the ability to keep orders moving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • At least 5 years of export merchandising experience in home textiles or apparel.
  • Experience independently managing orders from PI to final delivery.
  • Strong spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work systematically with trackers and process discipline rather than memory alone.
  • Composure in handling delivery problems while protecting buyer relationships.
  • Willingness to work full-time on-site in Indore or relocate there.

Who This Role Is Not Suited For

  • People who need repeated follow-ups for updates.
  • People who explain problems without offering a solution.
  • Applicants who have only supported merchandising work and never owned an order end to end.
  • People looking for a slow-moving corporate setup; this is a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Application Requirement

Applicants are expected to submit a CV along with a short paragraph answering: what was the largest order they independently managed, what went wrong during execution, and exactly how they handled it. Applications missing this paragraph will not be reviewed.
