Role Overview

This sales-support position is centered on improving in-store visibility and ensuring the brand is strongly represented across assigned outlets. The role may also involve in-store sampling and promotional activity when needed. The merchandiser must follow approved planograms for both shelf and off-shelf displays, escalate any deviations promptly to the pre-seller, and share market updates that may help unlock sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Visit the assigned OT outlets according to the daily route plan issued by the supervisor.
• Execute merchandising for SSFL products across available access points, shelves, stands, and floor displays within OT stores.
• Install POS materials wherever relevant beside SSFL displays.
• Ensure every display point follows the approved planogram.
• Use FIFO rotation, and remove products that do not meet quality standards.
• Keep shelf stock fresh, tidy, and well maintained at all times.
• Track competitor activity and communicate observations.
• Escalate any mismatch between actual conditions and the agreed terms with the assigned customer or outlet.
• Submit a daily update covering the previous day’s activities to the supervisor.
• Take part in sampling and redemption campaigns when requested.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior aligned with the Frito Lay code of conduct.

Performance Measures

Success in this role is assessed through execution standards, LTA enforcement, and adherence to the planned route schedule.

Additional Information

Some duties may include conducting in-store sampling sessions and promotional activities. The role also requires the merchandiser to keep the pre-seller informed with current market intelligence so that sales opportunities can be acted on quickly.

Qualifications and Competencies

Candidates should hold a valid driving licence and bring a service-oriented mindset. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others are important for this position.
