Media & Public Relations (PR) Intern

About the internship

This in-office internship is focused on supporting media and public relations efforts for Aawas Yojana, a platform dedicated to helping underserved and deserving families achieve permanent housing. The role is suited to someone interested in communication, brand visibility, and external stakeholder outreach.

What you will do

• Draft press releases, media notes, and other communication pieces for both internal and external audiences.
• Develop and nurture relationships with journalists, influencers, and partner organizations to strengthen the organization’s public presence.
• Track media mentions, compile coverage reports, and assist with PR activities, events, and promotional campaigns.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open only to candidates who can commit to a full-time, in-office internship, can begin between 20 June 2026 and 25 July 2026, are available for 6 months, and are based in Dehradun. Applicants should also have relevant skills and a genuine interest in the field.

Stipend

The internship offers a monthly stipend of ₹6,000 to ₹10,000. The compensation is structured with a fixed component of ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 per month and an incentive component of ₹3,000 to ₹5,000 per month.
