Logistics Supervisor, Amazon Logistics

Role overview

Amazon is hiring a proactive, customer-focused supervisor to guide and grow teams across the AMZL (Amazon Logistics) and FC (Fulfilment Center) environments. This position spans both operations areas and calls for someone who can adapt easily in a fast-moving setting, improve workflows, and help deliver a stronger customer experience. It is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

What you will do

• Run day-to-day operations across AMZL and FC, including coordinating approximately 30 to 40 Operations Assistants, Delivery Service Providers, and Associates.
• Plan labor usage, lead team huddles, assign work, and keep operations organized and on track.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop teams while building a positive, high-energy environment.
• Support associate safety and ensure work follows Amazon health and safety standards.
• Track operational metrics closely, investigate performance gaps, identify root causes, and put practical fixes in place.
• Monitor KPIs regularly and drive continuous improvement across both AMZL and FC processes.
• Spot opportunities to simplify workflows and improve efficiency without sacrificing quality or performance.
• Use analytical thinking and dive-deep analysis to solve operational issues and strengthen core processes.
• Act as a subject matter expert for main operational procedures.
• Share daily metrics, highlight exceptions, and communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, exchange best practices, and coordinate with external agencies.
• Make sound decisions quickly in a changing, high-pressure environment.
• Use software and hardware tools to keep operations running smoothly, ensure teams have the right equipment, and coordinate repairs or replacements when needed.
• Help introduce new systems and processes by gathering feedback and supporting rollout activities.

What Amazon is looking for

• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification, or at least 2 years of Amazon blue badge/FTE experience.
• At least 1 year of experience managing employees and performance.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to push and pull wheeled dollies carrying products weighing up to 100 pounds during shifts in AMZL.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to motivate a team.
• Solid problem-solving and analytical ability.
• Bonus points for 1+ year of experience in performance metrics, process improvement, or lean methods.
• Preference for candidates with a degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration.
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
