Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for a Logistics Operations Executive. The role involves managing day-to-day freight forwarding work across air, sea, and land shipments, from booking and documentation to monitoring cargo movement from point of origin to final delivery. You will coordinate with carriers, customs agents, warehouse staff, and transport partners to help ensure shipments move on time and in compliance with requirements. The position also includes tracking shipments, keeping internal systems updated, sharing timely progress updates with customers, assisting with quotations and rate requests, and supporting the resolution of operational issues in a professional, service-oriented manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily freight forwarding activities across air, sea, and land transport.
• Arrange shipment bookings and prepare the necessary shipping documents.
• Monitor cargo movement through each stage of the shipment journey.
• Work with carriers, customs brokers, warehouse teams, and transport providers to support smooth delivery.
• Track shipments, maintain system updates, and keep operational records accurate.
• Provide customers with clear, timely, and proactive status communication.
• Assist with quotations, pricing inquiries, and support for service proposals.
• Help identify and improve operational processes where possible.
• Address shipment-related issues quickly and in a customer-focused way.

Qualifications and Experience

• A background of 2 to 3 years in freight forwarding, transport, or a related logistics function is preferred.
• Experience with air, sea, and land freight processes, shipping paperwork, and customs procedures is important.
• Practical knowledge of logistics systems, shipment tracking platforms, and standard office software is expected.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through are needed for this role.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-moving, deadline-oriented environment is essential.
• A problem-solving approach and the ability to manage urgent operational matters are required.
• Excellent English communication skills are necessary; additional languages are a plus.
• A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is preferred, though equivalent hands-on experience may also be considered.
