Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi is for a Land Surveyor responsible for collecting precise spatial information through field surveys. The work includes boundary checks, topographic measurements, and construction layout surveys, along with using survey tools such as total stations, GPS/GNSS devices, and levels. The role also covers marking set-out points, confirming site dimensions, and preparing survey drawings, reports, and supporting documents while ensuring compliance with project requirements and applicable local rules.

Key Duties

• Carry out field surveys to capture accurate spatial and measurement data.
• Perform boundary, topographic, and construction layout surveys as required.
• Use surveying equipment including total stations, GPS/GNSS instruments, and levels.
• Mark set-out points and confirm measurements on site.
• Prepare, check, and maintain survey drawings, reports, and related documentation.
• Ensure all survey data aligns with project specifications and local regulations.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and site personnel to support design, planning, and construction work.
• Follow site safety rules and maintain high quality standards during field operations.

Qualification Requirements

• Good command of land surveying for construction, infrastructure, and building projects.
• Hands-on experience in topographic surveying for design, planning, and site evaluation.
• Ability to operate total stations and similar surveying tools effectively.
• Knowledge of building surveying, including set-out work and as-built measurements.
• Diploma or degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
• Working familiarity with survey software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or comparable tools, plus basic data handling.
• Understanding of UAE surveying standards, site regulations, and safety practices.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Comfort working outdoors and coordinating with teams from different disciplines.
• Prior UAE or GCC land surveying experience is considered an advantage.

Additional Notes

The role requires regular outdoor site work and strict adherence to quality and safety expectations. Experience in the UAE or wider GCC region is beneficial but not mandatory.
