Role Overview
We are looking for an energetic and seasoned Key Account Manager to own and grow relationships with our most important clients in the physical security sector. The position plays a central role in expanding revenue through thoughtful account planning and solution-led selling.
You will work to understand customer needs and requirements, then position our video surveillance and audio offerings in ways that create value for both the client and the business. The objective is to support sustainable growth and long-term commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Build dependable, long-term relationships with priority customers and make sure their business needs are clearly understood and addressed.
- Develop new strategic accounts from scratch through research, outbound prospecting, and consultative selling to turn prospects into lasting partners.
- Act as the main contact for assigned strategic accounts and provide solutions aligned with customer goals.
- Identify opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts by introducing suitable products and services.
- Support marketing and partner outreach initiatives, including event participation, to increase engagement and strengthen brand presence.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and a positive customer experience.
- Track account health, handle issues early, and help maintain strong client retention over time.
- Ensure customers receive the right products and services on schedule.
- Act as the communication bridge between key clients and internal stakeholders.
- Address customer concerns and complaints promptly to preserve trust and satisfaction.
- Contribute to generating new sales opportunities that develop into long-term relationships.
- Prepare regular progress updates and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders using key account performance metrics.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The right candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-value client relationships, ideally in physical security or closely related industries. A strong commercial mindset, consultative selling approach, and the ability to uncover needs and propose effective solutions are essential.
Experience in the physical security space, including project bidding, main contractor management, and the system integrator landscape, will be an advantage. Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, organization, and time management skills are also important.
Experience and Education
Applicants should have 3 to 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in physical security or a related field. A background in delivering customized solutions for enterprise customers and managing sales cycles in CCTV or IP video surveillance is strongly preferred.
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Electrical, or Electronic disciplines would be beneficial.
Location and Reporting
This role is based in Singapore. The position reports directly to the Senior Country Manager.
