About the Role
This position is for an ambitious Data Scientist who enjoys turning complex datasets into practical business outcomes. You’ll partner with engineering, product, and business teams to tackle real-world problems through analytics, modeling, and machine learning.
What You’ll Do
- Gather, prepare, and evaluate both structured and unstructured data sources.
- Develop statistical and predictive models that help address business needs.
- Design, train, and implement machine learning and AI-based solutions.
- Create dashboards, reports, and data visuals that make insights easy to understand.
- Carry out data mining, pattern identification, and forecasting activities.
- Work alongside data engineers and software developers to improve data pipelines.
- Plan experiments and measure how well models perform.
- Share insights and recommendations with stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Use cloud platforms and large-scale data tools to support analytics at scale.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
- Comfort and proficiency with Python, R, or SQL.
- Practical exposure to machine learning libraries or frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods, predictive modeling, and data visualization.
- Experience using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Knowledge of data structures, ETL workflows, and database concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud services including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
Preferred Background
- Exposure to NLP, deep learning, or generative AI initiatives.
- Familiarity with Spark, Hadoop, or other big-data ecosystems.
- Experience in Agile team settings.
- Relevant certifications in AI, Machine Learning, or cloud technologies are an added advantage.
