About the Company
Gurukripa Inspection And Service works in the production and supply of industrial equipment and castings. Its product range includes slurry pumps, water pumps, pump casings, centrifugal pumps, alloy steel machine parts, iron crafts, CI pump castings, and other general cast iron castings.
Role Overview
The Inspection Engineer will be responsible for checking product quality, verifying dimensions, and documenting inspection and testing results across castings and related manufacturing stages.
Key Responsibilities
This role covers inspection and quality documentation for incoming material, in-process stages, and finished castings. The selected candidate will prepare and maintain technical reports and test records related to manufacturing and inspection activities.
- Prepare dimensional reports for castings and related components.
- Carry out ultrasonic testing (UT), dye penetrant testing (DPT), and hydro testing as required.
- Record and review deviation report sheets.
- Verify spectro results for incoming scrap material.
- Maintain heat sheets and records for each heat.
- Track molding data and melting data sheets.
- Document additions of elements in the log sheet.
- Monitor and record heat treatment details.
- Inspect incoming materials and castings.
- Check and maintain MTC, warranty documents, and fitment certificates.
- Prepare and maintain dimension records for each casting.
Eligibility
Candidates with a B.Tech or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering are eligible to apply.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant should be comfortable with inspection work, technical reporting, and quality control documentation in a foundry or casting environment.
