Role Overview
This position is for an HR Business Partner supporting central corporate functions including Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Fleet & Resources, Quality, EHS, Business Transformation, Communications, and Sustainability. The role is intended to connect people strategy with delivery outcomes, efficiency improvements, and cost management.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with business leaders to understand the operating context, strategic priorities, and day-to-day challenges.
- Act as a trusted HR advisor by shaping people initiatives that support business objectives.
- Use people data and analysis to support strategic workforce decisions.
- Drive workforce planning across projects in line with the Annual Operating Plan.
- Help allocate resources effectively while staying within headcount budgets.
- Track employee costs and keep them aligned with financial targets.
- Share insights and analytics that improve operational effectiveness.
- Support the full performance management cycle, including goal setting, reviews, calibration, and payout.
- Help managers strengthen a high-performance environment through feedback and coaching.
- Ensure individual performance stays connected to business goals.
- Collaborate with compensation and rewards teams on pay planning, internal fairness, and market competitiveness.
- Support salary reviews, incentives, and reward structures linked to performance.
- Provide proactive people solutions for employee and leadership issues.
- Help build an inclusive, positive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Lead engagement efforts and convert employee feedback into action plans.
- Develop leadership capability through coaching, learning interventions, and HR support.
- Work with stakeholders to strengthen employer branding and talent pipelines.
- Support the graduate engineering trainee pipeline and future talent development.
- Co-design training programs that match business and project needs.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, internal processes, and statutory requirements.
- Promote standardized HR practices and continuous improvement.
Experience and Education
The role requires a graduate degree along with an MBA in Human Resources. Candidates with HR experience in EPC environments are preferred. A minimum of 10 years of HR experience is expected.
