Swan Global is hiring an HSE Manager for civil and construction work in Doha, Qatar. The role is focused on leading health, safety, and environmental operations across project sites, with responsibility for maintaining regulatory compliance, strengthening safety management systems, and building a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Create, roll out, and track HSE policies, procedures, and project-specific safety plans.
• Carry out site inspections, risk evaluations, safety audits, and incident reviews while meeting client and regulatory expectations.
• Guide HSE teams, conduct safety induction sessions and toolbox talks, track safety performance, and share HSE updates with management and clients.

Experience and qualifications

• You should have 8 to 10 years of HSE experience in civil or construction projects.
• Prior exposure to HSE management on large construction assignments is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a similar field is needed.
• Applicants must have strong working knowledge of HSE laws, risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety audits.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Construction Project Management Tools is required.
• Strong leadership, reporting, and communication skills are essential.
• iDip-OHS (Level 6) certification is mandatory.
• Being available to join within the needed timeframe will be considered an added advantage.
