Role Overview

This full-time housekeeping role is based at W Hotels in Vagator Beach, Bardez, Goa. The position is non-management and is part of the Housekeeping & Laundry function. It is an on-site role rather than a remote one.

What You’ll Do

You will help maintain guest rooms and related areas to the brand’s cleanliness and service standards, responding quickly to guest needs and coordinating with other departments when required.

• Prepare the housekeeping cart with the needed supplies and move it to the assigned area.
• Enter guest rooms only after following proper access procedures and confirming the room is vacant.
• Restock guest amenities and supplies.
• Change used linens and towels for fresh items, make beds, and fold terry.
• Clean bathrooms and remove trash, soiled linen, and room service items.
• Check that room appliances are available and functioning correctly.
• Tidy furniture, desk items, and appliances; dust surfaces; polish items; and remove marks from walls and furnishings.
• Vacuum carpets and carry out floor-care tasks in guest rooms and hallways.
• Follow company, safety, and security procedures at all times and report maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications and store flammable materials correctly.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and protect confidential information.
• Greet guests warmly, handle service needs proactively, and support guests with disabilities when needed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, work with teammates toward shared goals, and uphold quality standards.
• Carry out other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Physical Demands

This job involves regular physical work, including lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance. You should be able to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and similar equipment over uneven or sloped surfaces. The role also requires bending, twisting, reaching above and below the knees, stooping, standing, sitting, kneeling, and walking for long periods during the full work shift. Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor control are needed to handle objects of different sizes and weights.

Education, Experience & Certification

No high school diploma or GED is required. There is no prior related work experience requirement, no supervisory experience requirement, and no license or certification requirement.
