Hot Shot Driver

Overview

DSK Dom Jsc is hiring Hot Shot Drivers for work in the Washington County area of Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive pay and benefits for experienced drivers.

What the role involves

• Drive medium-duty trucks fitted with specialized trailers to transport equipment, less-than-truckload freight, and materials to company and customer job sites.
• Complete vehicle checks before and after trips.
• Operate in line with company policies as well as DOT rules and safety requirements.
• Make sure cargo is secured correctly to avoid damage or breakage, following DOT standards and internal safety procedures.
• Stay in contact with the dispatch team or trucking manager when needed.
• Monitor the loading and unloading process to reduce the risk of damage.
• Inform the trucking manager or mechanics about any truck maintenance issues or repairs needed.
• Keep accurate driving and delivery records as required by DOT regulations.

Requirements

• Current DOT physical clearance, or the ability to obtain one; the company provides this if needed.
• At least 2 years of relevant driving experience.
• A clean motor vehicle record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR check.
• A valid driver's license is required; CDL-A is considered an advantage.
