Role overview
Iceland Foods is looking for a Home Delivery Driver to join its team in Lancashire. This position is suited to someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and interacting with customers while out on the road. As a delivery driver, you will represent the brand directly and play an important part in ensuring shopping reaches customers in excellent condition.
The hourly pay for this role is £13.71.
What you will do
- Load the van safely and follow correct manual handling practices, including lifting heavier items where needed.
- Drive with care at all times and follow safe driving standards.
- Carry out daily checks on the van before use.
- Make sure groceries are delivered in the best possible condition.
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service at every drop-off.
- Support the store team when extra help is needed.
- Work on your own initiative and manage your schedule efficiently.
- Be flexible with shift timings, as working hours may fall anywhere between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.
What we are looking for
- A full driving licence held for at least 3 years with no more than 6 penalty points.
- A positive, approachable attitude and a genuine commitment to good customer service.
- Someone who is reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines.
